When an incident occurs, a red flag on your dashboard or an RSS feed automatically alerts you:

• Every hour, for RPM Silver.
• Within 5 minutes, for RPM Gold.

See incidents within the selected time window, and click on an incident to see relevant data for both the current time period and for the same period last week—all without doing any configuration.

RPM can alert you to significant changes in:

• CPU utilization
• Application response time
• Application throughput
• DB utilization
• Increase in error rate
• Cluster thresholds past a danger level

When RPM no longer detects a problem, it closes the incident automatically.
